Fellow Award Winner

Dr. Stephen D. Holland is an associate professor of aerospace engineering and associate director of the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation at Iowa State University.  Dr. Holland has studied various forms of NDE since 1996, earning a PhD in theoretical and applied mechanics at Cornell in 2002. Research topics and interests include ultrasound, guided waves, thermography, and NDE data integration. He now leads the thermography research group and coordinates NDE-related graduate coursework at Iowa State. Dr. Holland was recently appointed to chair the Education Committee of the ASNT Engineering Council.
