ASNT… Creating a Safer World! ™
Marybeth Miceli is the Co-Founder and a Principal of the We-NDT Marketing Network and the President of Miceli Infrastructure Consulting. Before beginning her undergrad at Johns Hopkins for civil engineering, she read an article about nondestructive evaluation of infrastructure. It’s then she knew that she wanted to evaluate bridges and make sure they were safe.
Early in her career Marybeth worked on projects such as site safety at Ground Zero following 9/11, hardness testing of the Empire State Building antenna structure, transportation project management for the construction of Citi Field, and strain gauging of the Miller Park retractable dome. More recently, she has focused on structural health monitoring (SHM) consulting, working on the George Washington Bridge, New Jersey Turnpike, and various bridges across Pennsylvania and the country.
Marybeth has many contributions specific to women in NDT too: creation of Advancement of Women in NDT Recognition, creation of the Women in NDT LinkedIn Group, creation of the ASNT Women in NDT Committee. The ASNT Greater Los Angeles Section named a Women’s Scholarship after her as well.
