Certification Prep Courses

The Education Department of The American Society for Nondestructive Testing is committed to equal opportunity for all learners and participants in its programs and events regardless of race, religion, national origin, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability where a person is otherwise qualified or could be with reasonable accommodation.

For over 79 years, ASNT has been fulfilling its mission through our certification, publications, conferences, and training. ASNT can help you prepare for an NDT exam, advance your career, increase your knowledge, and much more. We provide several prep courses to help you continue learning and reach that next level.

The subject matter for all of the courses is derived from the training topics found in CP-105, Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A and CP-189.

ASNT certification prep courses are considered Level III courses and are designed for those who are currently Level II or III and are looking to become an ASNT Level III or to maintain their Level III status.

The courses are structured around the same Body of Knowledge as the ASNT NDT Level III examinations.

CEUs and Recertification Points

Those who plan to recertify by points will earn Continuing Education Units by attending ASNT courses. CEUs convert to recertification points at the rate of 1 CEU = 2.5 recertification points. Full course attendance and participation are required to receive CEU credit. Participation may include class discussion, homework assignments, and completion of a simple multiple-choice exam, depending on the course.

All ASNT Certification Prep Courses are taught by ASNT Level III instructors.

All classes have recommended publications that are available for purchase. Visit the The Source for more information.
