The ASNT UT Competition will take place on 24 October and will assess UT skills for two sets of competitors: NDT UT Level IIs (limited to 5 competitors) and NDT UT Level IIIs (limited to 5 competitors). The application submission deadline is 25 September 2023. Cash prizes of $1000.00 and $500.00 will be given to first and second-place winners.

The first chapter of the Nondestructive Testing Handbook, Fourth Edition: Volume 4: Thermal and Infrared Testing (IR) is currently available as a free download for ASNT members. This chapter provides an overview of the nondestructive testing methods and an introduction and history of IR. This offer expires on 31 October 2023.
