ANSI/ISO TC135 Technical Advisory Group (TAG)

The ANSI/ISO TC135 Technical Advisory Group (TAG) will be holding a virtual meeting on 13 September 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m. EDT.  Please keep checking the website for the posted agenda.

The meeting will be facilitated through the Microsoft Teams platform. It is recommended for those not familiar with using Microsoft Teams to access the following link. Learn how to access the meeting using the Microsoft Teams application or online. 

There is no fee to attend the meeting, however, registration is required. Please note that attendance to ISO/ANSI TAG meetings requires participants to be a US National Interested Party (for an explanation of this term, refer to the bottom of this web page).

If you wish to attend the ANSI/ISO TC135 TAG meeting and satisfy the US National Interested Party requirements, please send an email to Michelle Thomas (mthomas@asnt.org), including the following details:

United States Technical Advisory Groups: U.S. Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) are committees accredited by ANSI for participation in ISO technical activities or appointed by the USNC for participation in IEC technical activities, which operate in compliance with the ANSI Criteria for the Development and Coordination of U.S. Positions in the International Standardization Activities of the ISO and IEC. Such U.S. TAGs are administered by U.S. TAG Administrators, organizations that are appointed by ANSI to be responsible for ensuring compliance with TAG procedures.

Attendance at the ANSI/ISO TC 135 meetings shall be open to all U.S. national interested parties who are directly and materially affected by the activity in question. There shall be no undue financial barriers to participation. Participation shall not be conditional upon membership in any organization, or unreasonably restricted on the basis of technical qualifications or other such requirements.

U.S. National Interested Party - One of the following entities directly and materially affected by the relevant standards activity:

1. An individual representing a corporation or an organization domiciled in the U.S. (including U.S. branch offices of foreign companies authorized to do business in one or more states as defined by the relevant State’s Corporation law within the U.S.);
2. An individual representing a U.S. federal, state, or local government entity; or
3. A U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
