Other Preferred Positions

  • Add 20% premium to current rate (except covers and Page 1) for opposite table of contents, opposite masthead, or opposite CEO’s Letter. Subject to availability.

  • Advertisers booking 12x programs are given premium placement priority.

  • Frequency discounts are applied when multiple issues are reserved. If you are placing one insertion, you would pay the 1x rate. If you are placing six insertions, you would pay the 6x rate for each insertion.

  • Two-and four-year colleges, community colleges, technical institutes, and other training organizations that offer NDT coursework and training are eligible to receive the 12x rate when placing advertising insertions.

Creative Submission Requirements

These guidelines provide essential information on file formats, dimensions, and other specifications to help you prepare your ad for optimal printing and online display.

  • Supply only a print-ready PDF file. We cannot accept any native application file formats (e.g., MS Word, InDesign, Publisher). The PDF must be a high-resolution, print-ready file. All raster images should be 300 dpi. All fonts must be embedded.

  • Do not include any printer’s marks, such as crop marks, registration marks, etc., on your PDF ad file.

  • Do not include a bleed with fractional ads.

  • Color ads must use CMYK color only. RGB color or spot colors (e.g., Pantone colors) are not acceptable. We cannot guarantee an exact color match.

  • Materials that are not properly prepared may be subject to additional production charges.

  • Ads must be submitted in the exact size they are to appear. The publisher is not responsible for printing errors due to incorrect file preparation.
