Emilie Peloquin

About

Emilie Peloquin has more than 15 years of experience in the welding and NDT industry. She holds a welding degree, CWB certifications, and an associate’s degree in NDT technologies, trained in VT, PT, MT, RT, ET, and UT per SNT-TC-1A.

Since college, she has been active in the NDT community, chairing the ASNT North Carolina Student Chapter. She joined Evident (formerly Olympus) after graduation, holding roles in technical support and product management, specializing in ultrasonic techniques, including phased array, TFM, and PCI.

Now, as Executive Director of NDT Application Engineering at Evident, she supports business and product development across industries. Emilie is also deeply involved in NDT organizations, serving as a director on the ASNT Board of Directors since 2022 and as chair of the ASME BPVC Section V FMC working group. She also hosts the Inspect Tech podcast, covering industry challenges.

Personal Statement

I am passionate about advancing the NDT industry through innovation, education, and community engagement. Serving on the Board of Directors provides an opportunity to contribute my experience in welding, NDT applications, and product development to help shape the future of our field.

With over 15 years in the industry, I’ve worked closely with professionals across various sectors, gaining insight into the challenges and opportunities we face. My goal is to strengthen collaboration between industry, academia, and standards organizations to drive technological advancements and workforce development.

As an active member of ASNT, I understand the importance of mentorship, advocacy, and evolving industry standards. I want to help foster an inclusive and forward-thinking NDT community that empowers the next generation of professionals. By serving on the Board, I aim to support growth, innovation, and the continued excellence of our industry.
