Jason Caruso

About

With over 30 years of experience in the NDT field, Jason Caruso has a wide variety of experience with different vertical business segments. Caruso started his career in NDT with BIX (Baytown Industrial X-Ray) in 1993 as a technician. From there, he worked for an industrial fabrication and machining company where he oversaw the repair and/or fabrication and replacement of equipment and piping being channeled through our facility to the chemical plants and refineries located along the Gulf Coast. Additionally, Caruso spent 17 years with Acuren inspection, both in the US and Canada, as a General Manager and Service Line Director for all rope access activities. Most recently, he joined NVI as the Executive Vice President, where his focus is on growing their national footprint and the overall industry awareness of the brand.

Personal Statement

It is my desire to serve on the ASNT Board of Directors to give back to an industry that has given so much to so many, and that has served to keep the public safe through establishing the standards for the certification of technicians.

Additionally, I bring a unique perspective that I am convinced will serve to strengthen the organization by challenging the status quo and always driving toward continuous improvement. Having been in the industry for over 30 years, managing large workforces both in the US and Canada and with experience in the upstream, midstream, and downstream markets, I understand the complexities of the industry and the concerns that many of the owner-users have.

I would be honored to leverage my experience and knowledge to support the growth of ASNT membership, enhance awareness of the organization and its core principles, and expand its global reach.
