George L. Pherigo Tutorial Citation

Submit a Nomination 

The George L. Pherigo Tutorial Citation recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions and efforts in advancing NDT education and training. This prestigious award celebrates those who have fostered the development of the next generation of NDT professionals through educational initiatives.

Named in honor of George L. Pherigo, who dedicated his life to NDT education and founded the NDT program at Ridgewater College, honoring his legacy of excellence and commitment.

Eligibility

The contributions of the candidate should include, but are not limited to one or more of the following:

  • Long-term educational efforts through a local section.

  • Noteworthy service and promotion of education and training through service to the Technical & Educational Council.

  • Development, planning, and/or conduction of educational or training courses through an academic institute or other formalized educational institutions.

  • Outstanding contributions to the development or publication of an NDT handbook.

Nomination

All nominations shall consist of completion of an online questionnaire, a nomination letter, and substantial supporting documentation attesting to the qualification and accomplishments of the nominee.
