NDT ProTracker: The Power of Your NDT Career in Your Hands

Access to the NDT ProTracker app is directly linked to your ASNT membership. If your membership lapses or you choose not to renew, you are encouraged to export your data before your membership anniversary ends. However, rest assured that NDT ProTracker will save your user data even if your membership lapses.

Starting in 2025, the NDT ProTracker app will be included in a subscription-based membership package for ASNT members. For those with an existing multiyear membership, the app can also be subscribed to as a standalone service for $12 per month.

Currently, the app is only available to ASNT members. If you are not a member and wish to use the app, you will need to join ASNT. Membership offers numerous benefits for students, technicians, researchers, managers, and CEOs. For more information on becoming a member, visit the ASNT membership page.

Since NDT ProTracker is a progressive web app, there is nothing to install from the app store. Simply visit ndtprotracker.com and login. it will be available at all times from your browser, even while offline. You can bookmark the url for easy access.

For a native app-like experience, you can add the app to your device’s home screen or download it for phones/tablets. The process for downloading depends on the browser you are using.

Chrome or Microsoft Edge

Upon logging in, users will be prompted three times to “Add to home screen”. Select this button to download the app icon to your main screen (desktop or mobile) and access NDT ProTracker like an app.

You can additionally add the app manually. To do so:

• Login to NDT ProTracker

  • For Chrome:

    • At the top right, select More ⋮ > Save and share > Install page as app.

  • For Edge:

    • At the top right, select Settings and more ⋮ > Apps > Install this site as an app.

  • On some websites, at the top right of the address bar, select Install.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

Safari

The prompt to install the app does not show up on Safari, but you can bookmark the website and access it offline. Alternatively, you can install the app manually by following these steps:

• Log in to NDT ProTracker

• Press the Share button > Add to Home Screen > select Add in the top right of the screen to finish installing.

Firefox

Unfortunately, you will not be able to download NDT ProTracker from Firefox. To access it offline, you can bookmark it and access it anytime. To add it to your device’s home page, use another browser and follow the corresponding download directions.

NDT ProTracker offers Level II technicians detailed tracking capabilities, access anywhere through offline functionality, and the ability to easily export work history for professional growth and career advancement.

Military veterans can leverage NDT ProTracker to transition their NDI hours gained during service into civilian credentials, utilize offline capability for logging hours anytime, anywhere, and streamline compliance processes to enhance employment prospects in civilian NDT roles.

While ProTracker log entries are a great way to keep track of your hours, they are not automatically transferred or approved by ASNT Certification Services toward your certification eligibility.

During the certification application NDT Level II or ASNT 9712 Level II process, you’ll be asked to list work experience and training that qualifies you for the designation. This includes uploading training certificates and signed employment records, such as a signed statement of completed training hours from an ASNT NDT, ACCP, or 9712 Level III professional.

Yes, NDT ProTracker prioritizes data security and confidentiality. Your information is encrypted and protected using industry-standard security measures.

Unapproved hours are those logged by the user. Approved hours are logged hours that are signed by a supervisor, instructor, Responsible Level III, etc. Approved hours are more commonly accepted when transporting hours for a specific purpose, but not a requirement for personal reference and recordkeeping.

The required fields are Method, Technique, Date, and Training Time. All other fields, including the approval signature, are optional.

The app does not auto-save your information. If you need to start an entry and complete it later, you will need to click “save” to save any current progress and then edit the entry when you next log in.
